Yes, we can design a raised deck that makes sloping land functional and safe. Including things like timber steps and retaining walls where needed.
In many cases we can actually build timber decks without a building permit or Council approval. This is something we’ll confirm during our initial consultation and guide you through the design, documentation and approval process if required.
Treated pine and hardwoods are both durable choices, with hardwood offering a more premium look and longer lifespan. However, we also work with plastic or composite decking boards like Ecodeck, which are a great low-maintenance alternative to timber decking.

We begin every deck or landscaping project with an on-site consultation.
At your consultation, you will receive professional advice, lots of suggestions and information on materials, suppliers and also discuss the potential budget needed in order to progress with your project.
After your consultation you will receive a written summary of what was discussed at site – we want to make sure we heard you correctly!
Following this, a quotation along with a basic scaled sketch will also be sent through to help with your planning. A follow-up phone call will also be arranged in case you have any questions.
